Question:

My fogger will not turn on.  Is the charger not working?

Answer:

Chances are your battery is not dead.

Your Oil Works DS-3000 Fogger comes equipped with 2 power switches.   There is a Master Power Safety Switch in the rear of the unit and a Functional Power Switch on the top of the unit.   BOTH Switches are set to the OFF Position ( O ) when shipped.

To charge your DS-3000 fogger, be sure to first set the Master Power Safety Switch to the ON Position ( I ).  The Functional Power Switch should remain in the OFF Position ( O ) while charging.

Question:

My fogger will still not turn on.  Is it a dead battery?

Answer:

Chances are your battery is not dead.  You just need to reset the charging system.

To perform a “Hard Reset” on your OW-DS-3000 fogger, be sure to first unplug the machine from the charging cable.  Next, set the Functional Power Switch to the OFF Position ( O ) and the Master Power Safety Switch to the ON Position ( I ). Now, connect to the charger (The charge indicator light should turn RED when charging).  Allow to charge for 6 full hours (Even if the indicator light turns GREEN)

Once charged, unplug the machine and toggle the Master Power Safety switch to the OFF Position ( O ) and then back to the ON Position ( I ).

This completes the Hard Reset procedure and your OW-DS-3000 should return to normal operation when activation the Functional Power Switch to the ON Position ( I ).
